This week, the leading local airline, United Nigeria Airline commenced daily flights to Sokoto. The airline’s team, led by its chairman , Prof. Obiora Okonkwo paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar and later paid a visit to the state governor, Aliyu Sokoto.
I didn’t miss the opportunity for a selfie with the former Ambassador to Spain and the wife of the Ikemba of Nnewi, Bianca Ojukwu, who was part of the airline’s team.
