It was celebration of thanksgiving to God today at the premises of the Association of Progressive Traders (APT), Lagos International Trade Fair complex as the executives and members of the association shutdown their shops and gathered to praise and thank God for his goodness throughout 2023.

In his address, the Chairman of Trade Fair Stakeholders Association (TFSA) and President of APT, Chief Eric Ilechukwu said the idea to reserve a day to thank God is born out of the goodness of God to the association this year.

He said, his administration will continue to do what is right and good for the growth of the market.

According to him, work will soon resume at the APT new site and extension as all issues leading to the sudden stoppage of works are being addressed.

He prayed that God will guide all members to and fro this yuletide and further give them power and strength to do better business in 2024.

Highlight of the event was the cutting of the President’s birthday cake by himself, wife and executive members.

During the goodwill message, two financial institutions doing business in the complex including TAJ Bank and AGMB Plc took turns to address APT members on the products of their banks.

Shops and businesses, however opened for business at the end of the worship and thanksgiving.
