Allegation that Arthur Eze habours Fulani Herdsmen in Enugu-Agidi laughable—Otunabo
Frontline investor and stakeholder in Nigeria’s largest International Centre for Commerce (ICC), the Balogun Business Association (BBA) in Lagos Trade Fair complex, Obguefi Emma Otunabo has included his voice to the rising clean bill of health being giving to Ukpo’s oil and gas magnet and illustrious son, Prince Engr. Arthur Eze over allegations of habouring killer Fulani Herdsmen in a nearby community of Enugu-Agidi.
Speaking camp in an interview with Business Hilights in Lagos, the former General Secretary and recent Presidential candidate of BBA, said “That claims in a poorly packaged viral voice note video that our Prince is habouring herdsmen remains a lie as there is no such thing camp.
“Prince Arthur Eze is a blessing to Igboland and Ndianambra in general and cannot think of any kind of evil for his people.
Ogbuefi Otunabo said “In fact, when I called my big brother on the matter because we are from the same community, he laughed and told me that his enemies are always at work and made it clear that their works cannot stop him from contributing meaningfully to the growth of Ukpo in particular and Anambra in general.
The Lagos Trade Fair stakeholder further showed our Correspondent a letter captioned ‘From Enugu-Agidi Monarch, Okpalariam III’, where the said monarch, HRH, Igwe Mike Okekeuche, Okpalariam III, Enugu-Agidi Traditional Ruler made it clear that “I want to categorically state that I did not receive any form of security report from Enugu-Agidi Vigilante or our Forest Guards reporting Fulani Herdsmen settlement and I did not know of any existing one in any nearby community”.
“On behalf of myself and the great people of Enugu-Agidi, we wish Prince Engr. Arthur Eze (Ozoigbondu, OFR) good health of mind and body, long life and prosperity”, the Igwe said in the letter.
Ogbuefi Otunabo, who was a former Youth leader of Ukpo community therefore called on Nigerians and Ndianambra in particular to disregard the said video or voice note as there is no truth in it.
