The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer for Isiala Ngwa North and Isiala South Federal Constituency in the next month’s general elections, Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere has appreciated the people of Isi-Mkporobe community in Ukwa East LGA for giving him a good platform to begin his educational pursuit in life.
Prof. Agbazuere who made his feelings known when he paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Abia State University Uturu, Prof. Maxwell Ogbulu at his Isi-Mkporobe countryhome recalled with nostalgia the quantum of love, care and support shown him and his family by the people of the area during his elementary school days in the community between 1970-1975
The Isiala Ngwa North and Isiala Ngwa South Federal Constituency Hopeful while commending Prof. Ogbulu for his outstanding leadership and administrative acumen and immense contribution towards the development of his community promised to revisit his alma mater to enable him interact with the pupils and contribute his quota towards the development of the school.
Prof. Agbazuere who is also an International Human Rights and Constitutional Lawyer further thanked God for life to witness the new year as well as charged the people of Isi-Mkporobe to remain resolute in the PDP led administration in the state and ensure a landslide victory for PDP candidates at the polls.
Responding, the Vice Chancellor, Abia State University Uturu, Prof. Maxwell Ogbulu while welcoming Prof. Agbazuere to Isi-Mkporobe community described him as an astute politician, a great lover of his people and a true leader who has carved a niche for himself both in politics and his legal profession, also prayed God to grant him victory in his political aspirations.
Also Speaking, the Chairman of Isi-Mkporobe community, Mr Obijuru Nwaikpeghe and the Woman Leader, Mrs Charity Nwogu thanked Prof-acb Agbazuere for remembering the host community of his alma mater, identifying with them in their programs and prayed God to continue to bless him.
Highlight of the visit was prayers for PDP candidates, presentation of wrappers to the women and a visit to Isi-Mkporobe market square where Prof. Agbazuere promised to roof the new market stalls built by the ECHEFULA NWANNE WOMEN’S MEETING in support of the women’s last year’s August meeting project.
