APT in Lagos Trade Fair Marks 17th Anniversary in Praises, Thanksgiving
The Association of Progressive Traders (APT), one of the leading business groups in the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex on Thursday, February 15, 2024, mark her 17th year of migrating from Idumota in Lagos Island to the complex.
The association completed their plaza buildings and started business at the complex in 2007 under the leadership and presidency of Chief Ifeanyi Aniekwe (Ogbuhereuzo).
The celebration which is done yearly took off with worship songs and ministrations from invited and in-house men of God.
In his lead sermon, the invited Reverend Father/Parish Priest, centered his homily on holding onto God, the author and finisher of our faith, saying, “the best refuge remains in God almighty and not in man-made gods which are known for failing when it matters most. But God does not fail at all.”
The Reverend Father in his concluding session, anointed all the APT Executives, who cladded on fitted-white up and down to grace the occasion.
The high point of the occasion was the cutting of the APT 17th Anniversary Cate by the President, Chief Eric Ifeanyichukwu Ilechukwu, his Executives and members of the Board of Trustees plus officials of Fidelity Bank, AG Mortgage Bank Plc and TAJ-Bank, who used the occasion to make presentations on their products for business owners in the complex.
In his address earlier, the President, Chief Ilechukwu, who is popularly called ‘Mr. Projects’, thanked God for high level of success within 2023 in APT and called for observation of one-minute of silence for departed members of the association in 2023.
He assured the association of massive policy reforms and growth of ease of doing business to be implemented by his administration.
Business Hilights recalls that the APT President, Chief Ilechukwu (Akunwafor-Anyirico) is the current Chairman of Trade Fair Stakeholders Association (TFSA), the umbrella body of all the 67 business associations in the Lagos Trade Fair complex.
