The Lagos Waste Management Authrority (LAWMA), today, October 27, 2023, reopened the Lagos trade Fair complex it shut since Sunday, October 22, over sanitation infractions.
Credible sources from LAWMA, the Trade Fair Management Board (TFMB) and the Trade Fair Stakeholders Association (TFSA) who pleaded anonymity revealed in the last few hours, told Business Hilights that there was a joint patrol of the complex by the three parties where it was confirmed that whereas inside the plazas are deemed clean enough, the sourrounding gutters must be cleaned up as the last condition for reopening.
As at 2.22PM today, the secretary of TFSA, Major ken Ugboaja sent a WhatsApp message to Business Hilights saying “Lagos trade Fair has been officialy reopened today”.
Accordingly, there are clear indications that business activities will take off from tomorrow at the complex.
