The President of Auto Spare Parts and Machinery Dealers Association (ASPMDA), the largest auto marketing complex in sub-Saharan Africa, Hon. Ngozi Emechebe has called on the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu to come to their aid of by fixing a very strategic but small link road between St. Joseph Catholic Church Junction in Abule-Ado to FESTAC Town.

Speaking with journalists during a tour of the road, Emechebe explained that “constructing from St. Joseph Junction along Ado Soba road in Abule-Ado to FESTAC will relief huge traffic away from the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.”

St Joseph Junction Abule Ado, from where the FESTAC link road will begin

“The link road is less than half a kilometer but it will help tremendously in solving traffic crisis on Trade Fair bus stop up to Alakija on a daily basis.

According to him, “We already have a motorable exit from trade fair complex on the Ado Soba axis, so doing the link road will pull away many vehicles to and fro trade fair from the Badagry Expressway seamlessly.”

Emechebe concluded the media tour by saying that “From my findings, if the Lagos State government can fix Oteyi Garden Estate Road which it has started to Iyana-School, Iba and then link up St. Joseph Catholic Church Junction along Ado-Soba in Abule-Ado to FESTAC junction at Alakija, ease of doing business at Lagos International trade fair will be at the highest limit.”
