Sanwo-Olu on Blue line
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has not only flagged off the commercial operations of the newly launched Lagos Blue Line rail system, but has became one of the first passengers to embark on a journey aboard from Marina to Mile 2.
The governor boarded the train from the Marina terminal enroute Mile 2.
Business Hilights recalls that the Managing Director, Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, Mrs Abimbola Akinajo, announced on Thursday that the Lagos Blue Line Rail would commence commercial operations on Monday, September 4.
Akinajo also warned that crossing the rail is banned as the system is electrified and ready to electrocute at the slightest contact.
