
Dignitaries at the recent maiden Convocation/2nd Matriculation Ceremony of Ezeala College of Nursing Sciences, Okwudor in Njaba LGA of Imo State
Provost of the leading private College of Nursing, South of Nigeria, the Ezeala College of Nursing Sciences, Okwudor in Njaba LGA of Imo State, Dr. Mrs. Augustina Ogini has given insights on the reasons behind the unprecedented rise to stardom of the institution within the shortest time.
According to her, under her watch in few years, the population of the school has moved from 82 she met in 2021 to over 400 students after the 2023 matriculation.
Speaking in an interview on the recent maiden Convocation merged with the second Matriculation of the health institution, she revealed that the first result of the institution was 100 per cent as the school graduated students in both Basic Nursing, Post Basic Accident & Emergency Nursing.
On matriculation, she added that the school currently operates on three fully accredited departments including Basic Nursing which took in 150; Basic Midwifery with 74 intakes and 24 students studying Post Basic Accident & Emergency.
Also, the School capped 360 students within the period under review.

Explaining more, elated Dr. Mrs. Ogini, hinted that the College is happy to announce to the general public that it has secured accreditation for the takeoff of Department of Public health and within a space of few weeks, all will be set for effective take off.
On whether there chances of still being admitted, the Provost averred that new intakes who are qualified and able to approach the school between now and end of the month stand a better chance of being considered for admission in the current academic calendar.
