In line with evolution coming with technology and market changes, Terragon Group has added three core pillars to its business. These include programmatic mobile advertising platform, digital aggregation services to telcos and a demand-side digital agency business.
A statement made available to Business Hilights said the wide gap in applying data and marketing technology to Nigeria and African consumers made it to evolve into a data and marketing technology company.
Terragon further noted that the need for data-driven marketing was rapidly increasing, as brands and businesses were becoming more aware of the power of data and the measurable results data had on their marketing.
According to the group, advertisers now seek effective and tailor-made ways to communicate with their customers, adding that only a few companies had a robust solution with a customer view enriched with quality data analytics that enabled data-driven marketing.
While observing that the new shift was to align with current demands of African mobile users, Terragon averred that “In a bid to further grow its competence and drive its strategic objective of providing quality data for its customers, it has acquired Bizense, an Asian marketing technology firm.”
“The target of the new acquisition is to further consolidated Terragon offerings as one of the leading digital technology companies in Africa,” the statement added.
