Did NYSC Act permit Davido to leave state of primary assignment for Osun politics?

Whereas the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) bylaws clearly prohibit political activities for serving Corp members, it is no more news that David Adeleke, popularly known as ‘Davido’ was leading the campaign entertainment wing of Senator Adeleke’s guber activities ahead of Saturday’s election.
Davido, a Hip-up artiste was conspicuously sighted at a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) guber campaign putting on free-flowing ‘Agbada’ and thrilling the crowd during one of the last campaigns of Senator Ademola Adeleke in Osun State.
Efforts to find out if Davido has erred in law especially the NYSC Act from the agency’s spokesperson, Mrs. Adenike Adeyemi failed at press time.
