Mr. Clement Isong has been appointed as the executive secretary of Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) following the retirement of Mr. Obafemi Olawore after over 17 years in office.
MOMAN remains the leading group for major oil marketers in Nigeria with membership including 11 Plc (formerly known as Mobil), Total Nigeria Plc, Conoil Plc, Forte Oil Plc, OVH Energy (trading under the licence of Oando Plc) and MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.
In a statement, MOMAN said Olawore emerged as its first executive secretary at a time of great uncertainty, and was able to advance the objectives of the organisation, while championing its position at major policy dialogue sessions.
MOMAN noted that Isong was appointed based on his vast knowledge of the industry and service delivery intelligence in the industry.
