
LafargeHolcimAwards 2017 for Africa Middle East
Details on the winners for Africa Middle East segment of the LafargeHolcim Awards 2017 has emerged showing that none of the 75 entries from Nigeria made it to the winners list.
Results show that whereas Silver Prize went to Fatima-azzahra Bendahmane from Morroco, Gold went to Yasaman Esmaili and Mariam Kamara form USA.
Joana Dabaj, Riccardo Conti, Luca Astorri and Joana Dabaj, Lebanon/United Kingom won Bronze.

The eleven winning projects share in USD 330,000 prize money, and illustrate how sustainability in building is rapidly gaining significance in the Middle East Africa region. The successful entries were unveiled in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital city late last week.
Business Hilights gathered that the 5th International LafargeHolcim Awards competition for projects and visions in sustainable construction attracted 5,085 entries by authors in 121 countries, including 75 entries from Nigeria.

Regional LafargeHolcim Awards 2017 for Europe results would be announced September 28, 2017, while results for North America will be announced October 12, 2017.
Also, the Regional LafargeHolcim Awards 2017 for Latin America will be unveiled on October 5, 2017 and the last but not the least, the Regional LafargeHolcim Awards 2017 for Asia Pacific results will be made public on November 23, 2017.
