Leading African preacher, philanthropist and General Overseer, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, born on June 12th, 1963 in Ondo State, Nigeria is 54 years today.
He is the founder and General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All nations (SCOAN), headquartered at Ikotu Egbe, Lagos State, Nigeria.
He is also the founder of Emmanuel TV, the globally most watched religious TV transmission which recently won an award from the prestigious YouTube Corporation, United State after hitting 100,000 subscribers.

The Ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua is internationally recognized, not only for the miraculous healings, deliverances and accurate messages of prophesy every service day but also for the works of charity towards the less privileged, physically challenged, widows and widowers, orphans, little people and the citizens of earthquake ravaged nations.
Business Hilights recalls that he assisted victims of Boko Haram recently, earthquake victims in Haiti and even commissioned a school he donated to earthquake hit region of Ecuador.
He has been in the habit of starting new life for deported Nigerians from parts of the world. He did it recently to victims from Libya.
Explaining the beauty of giving during yesterday’s Sunday Live Service in Lagos, he recalled how he gave out his school fees to a senior student in his Secondary School who was about to miss his final exams because of not paying School fees.
Though he is yet to make a categorical statement on the recent news that went viral over his invitation by Israeli authorities to relocate the entire SCOAN to a massive land near the Sea of Galilee, prominent Nigerians and the federal government through the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed were among dignitaries that have been pressuring him not to leave Nigeria.

Records from the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) show that the SCOAN in the last 10 years, has been the single highest driver of tourists coming into Nigeria on a weekly basis and that amounts to heavy revenue to the government, direct and indirect jobs for Nigerians.
SCOAN has a proven weekly average of 250 international visitors, about 13,500 in 54 weeks that make a year.
Business Hilights recalls that few years ago, Prophet Joshua prophesied and called on Nigeria and Nigerians to go back to farming as in years to come, farmers will be the saving grace. Analysts say, if that prophecy was taken seriously by Nigeria, the ongoing recession may have been avoided after all.
However, indications appeared early enough in the life of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, that it has taken the prophesy seriously as the administration is doing everything possible to encourage farming to the extent; government has said Nigeria will begin yam exportation by the end of this month.
Besides, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh has revealed that due to the massive investment by this government in agriculture, Nigeria will end rice imports very soon.
Already, Lake Rice, a partnership between Lagos and Kebbi State government has flooded parts of the country at a very competitive price and many farm products are growing to saturate the market.
