New window of investment opportunity is now open for emerging leaders in domestic airline, Air Peace following its recent designation by the Federal Government to operate flight services to seven international destinations.

Accordingly, the airline said it had concluded plans to acquire more aircraft, including Boeing 777s, to beef up its fleet and service its long-haul routes.

Corporate Communications Manager of Air Peace, Mr. Chris Iwarah, in a statement said “The airline, which launched its regional operations with its maiden flight to Accra, Ghana on February 16, 2017, has been designated by the Federal Government to fly into Johannesburg, London, Atlanta, Mumbai, Dubai and Guangzhou”.

The airline added that it had commenced Boeing 777 training for its pilots in preparation for the international flights.

Iwarah averred further that “Air Peace has given its plan to launch itself on the international route a big push with the training of four of its pilots in the handling of Boeing 777 aircraft. The training, which took place at the Boeing Training Centre in the United Kingdom, was the first by any Nigerian airline.”
