Globacom plans more students-oriented services in Varsities

Leading indigenous telecoms group, Globacom has promised more innovative telecoms services that will serve the needs of Nigerian students in higher institutions.

The Globacom’s Head of Gloworld, Mr. Babatunde Alimi, stated this during a visit of the executive officers of the Students’ Union Government, Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo, to the Globacom headquarters.

Alimi, who reiterated Globacom’s commitment to support students with Information and Communications Technology to enhance their academic achievements, urged the students to avail themselves of the numerous benefits of Glo 4G LTE service for learning purposes.

He said “With Globacom’s latest and avant-garde technology, you can connect to resource persons and seminar groups. Moreover, you can download a vast universe of audio visual resources that are available in the cyber clouds for your studies”.

He stressed the role of Nigerian youths, particularly students, in nation building.

“We believe you are the hope of the country as far as the future is concerned and we are passionate about anything that has to do with your generation. This is why we design our products and programmes around the younger generation, especially around the needs of students in higher institutions.
