The Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman has reenacted fresh partnership with the management of Nigerian Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) to increase activities in the sector.
The move was cemented in Lagos when she hosted a delegation from NLNG led by its Managing Director Tony Attah.
While assuring what she described as seamless communication with the management of NLNG with a view to promoting harmonious inter agency collaboration, Usman said NPA will work assiduously to remain competitive in the sub-region especially through competitive tariff regime.
She further assured the commitment of NPA in the maintenance of infrastructure and effective operations and stressed that the NPA would ensure robust synergy with the management of NLNG in order to facilitate revenue generation from its Bonny operations.
Responding, Attah said the need for stronger partnership with NPA necessitated the visit and promised to deliver the NLNG side of the new partnership.
