The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) is set to host the second edition of the NSE Market Data Workshop.
A statement issued by the media officer coordinating the event, Abimbola Akindolire, the 2017 edition will among other sectors, target retail & institutional investors, fund managers, broker dealers, pension fund administrators’, media, Government agencies and other exchanges across Africa.
The Workshop themed, “Market Data: The Bedrock of Wealth Creation”, will hold at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, by 9:00 a.m.
NSE averred that “The overarching objective of the workshop is to increase awareness of the critical role of Market Data as a fundamental input for creating wealth, and bridge the information gap between the Exchange and market participants”.
“This year’s workshop will feature keynote address, presentations from leading experts, interactive sessions and a panel discussions with thought leaders on market data products and related challenges, smart investment decisions using market data, and guidelines for market data contracts and compliance in a financial era of rising regulatory requirements.
