The President of Balogun Business Association (BBA), Lagos International Trade Fair complex, Hon. Oscar Paul Ikechukwu Odogwu has given fresh insights on the exploits of his administration inaugurated on November 22nd, 2023.

Speaking in an exclusive media chat with Business Hilights in his office on Wednesday, he revealed that his desire to serve BBA as President was to raise the standards and put the association on a growth pedestal.

Giving details of the accomplishments of his executives since inauguration, he revealed that his administration has been able to clear away all forms of attachments in the complex, thereby may clear ways for free movement of vehicles and human beings with ease.

Aside the clearing of attachments, the main gate has received upliftments with asphalts which has taken good care of flooding on the axis.

Explaining more, Hon. Odogwu noted that “After delivering on clearing off attachments on BBA access roads, we embarked on drainage cleaning by opening up all channels and manholes this has helped in reducing cases of internal flooding after rains.

“We have also restored public power supply which has not been at the complex in the last six years. Today, BBA is on Band B with up to 16 hours of light on a daily basis. This alone reduced costs of doing business as many business owners no longer spend much on fuels and generators.

“On security, we have raised the bar in security since we came on board. Due to our crack intel, we have been able to track down a Nigerian (Niger Rep.) shop bugling syndicate in the market and today, the criminals are cooling off at the Kiri-kiri correctional centre.

“Again, if you come here at nights, you will hardly recongise that its night because we have provided Solar panel powered streetlights on every area of the complex.
