Stakeholders and traders doing business at the Lagos International Trade Fair complex, have thanked the leadership intelligence of the Executive Director of the complex, Barr. Vera Ndanusa over the massive ongoing freeing of all drainage channels in the complex.

Speaking in an interview, the President of APT and chairman of stakeholders’ association, Chief Eric Ilechukwu said the drainage work embarked by the management has not been done by any of the past CEOs and thanked the current ED for the good job.

Continuing, Chief Ilechukwu averred that whereas all other associations are working on their internal drainage systems, on his own, he is planning to contract a Caterpillar to clear all the dug-outs for correct free-flow of drains.

Checks by Business Hilights across the complex showed that all the drains in front of the complex down to the Police Station and inward ASPMDA main gate have been freed for free-flow of drains.

In a telephone interview, the ED, Barr. Ndanusa told our correspondent that she will continue to set standards in management at the complex and must leave the complex better than she met it.

“We are working on the drains to avoid the dangers of flooding in the complex. We are also encouraging every business owner in the complex to avoid throwing solid wastes into the gutters to avoid blockages during the rains.

“I encourage every stakeholder to key into the drainage clearing work for the good of all of us at the complex and to grow ease of doing business.
