It was excitement galore as the largest auto market in Africa, the Auto Spare Parts and Machinery Dealers Association (ASPMDA) celebrated the birthday of one of its giants and pillars, High Chief Dr. DC Offorkansi, former president and current chairman of Board of Trustees (BoT).
In his brief eulogy, the current President of ASPMDA, Hon. Ngozi Emechebe described Offorkansi as a political juggernaut and servant leader. According to him, “Chief Offorkansi is a leader of leaders and I have continued to learn from him.”
The ED of trade fair Management Board, Barr. Vera Ndanusa was ably represented by a team of management staff led by the Director, APM, Hon. Dejilak, her SA and another senior staff, Ngozi.
The event drew many leaders of thought and presidents of several business associations including the Chairman of Stakeholders and President of APT, Chief Eric Ifeanyi Ilechukwu.
The BBA President, Chief Oscar, new President of UASPADA and so many other dignitaries graced the birthday celebration.
In his speech, the chief celebrant, Chief Offorkansi thanked everyone for honouring him alive and pledged to continue his good work in the complex.
