Investors are flocking to Aba as Taiwan’s Maxxis Tyres plans to establish a full-scale tyre production plant in the city.

Following the stable power restored by Geometric Power in Aba North, with plans to expand to 8 other LGAs by next week, interest in the commercial hub is growing. Taiwanese Directors of Maxxis Tyres through Apostle Chibuzo Of OPM church, recently visited Ukanku Community to inspect land for the production plant, which will include motorcycle/tricycle tires, car tires, light trucks, ATVs, trailer tires, and more.

Maxxis Tyres, a brand of Cheng Shin Rubber Industry Co. in Taiwan, originally started as a bicycle tire maker in 1967 and is currently ranked as the 11th largest tire company worldwide.
