Joy as two sons of Rtd Master Warrant Officer Okoro become Generals
In an extreme rarity, a Nigerian octogenarian father, is alive to see two of his sons rising to become Generals, and Brigade Commanders, in the same Army he retired from, as a Master Warrant Officer.
The two sons today command two Brigades of the Nigerian Army. Major Gen Valentine Okoro, left of Dad in the picture below, commands the Nigerian Army Second Brigade in Ibadan. His brother, Major Gen. Everest Ifeanyi Okoro, is the Commander of the 13th Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Calabar.
