Following rising cases of vehicular failures due to bad state of the Lagos International Trade Fair Ring Road, traders and motorists on Wednesday could no more manage the very poor state of the road.
Accordingly, they have send a Save Our Soul (SOS) message to the new Executive Director of the trade Fair Management Board, Barr. Veronica Ndanusa to see how she can reconstruct the road as soon as possible in other to save their businesses from total collapse.
Speaking to Business Hilights at the site of a collapsed trailer on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, many of the traders said whereas they are very happy on the speed and manner with which the new ED worked with stakeholders to prevail on the Lagos State Government to reopen the complex recently, they want her to use the same energy to work on the bad spots on the road within the complex.
Though efforts to reach out to top officials of the stakeholders failed, it would be recalled that many of them had advised her to try hard and fix the complex road especially from the complex main entrance to Mandilas main gate, to BBA main gate, to Trye main gate, to Tools Main gate, to APT main gate, to ASPMDA and to the Police Station.
Efforts to speak to the new ED failed.
