Following the swift but well coordinated efforts the Trade Fair Management Board (TFMB) led by the new Executive Director, Barr. Veronica Ndanusa, the Executives of Trade Fair Stakeholders Association (TFSA) ably led by Chief Eric Ilechukwu, other top officials including BoT chairman of ASPMDA, Chief DC Oforkansi, President of Tyre Village, Alhaji Issa Akanbi and others like Mayor Ken Ugboaja, Hon. Osita Ekpunobi, the sealed complex was reopened on Saturday afternoon.
Recall that the complex had been shut on last Sunday afternoon when nobody was around.
Speaking to our correspondents, many traders at the complex praised the well coordinated efforts of the TFSA and the TFMB, who worked round the clock with the LAWMA to reopen the market.
Some of them put the total loss by the closure to well over N10 billion Naira and called on the Lagos State government to always issue notifications before sealing up markets.
