Following the Friday removal of former Executive Director (ED) of Lagos Trade Fair Management Board (TFMB), Mr. Charles Onyeka Okoye and immediate replacement by Lady Veronica Sadiya Ndanusa, a lawyer and lover of small and medium scale business development, leading stakeholders’ in the massive complex have started rolling out agenda for her.

My advice for the new ED of Trade Fair Management Board (TFMB) is that she should try as much as possible to work with the stakeholders;
Especially on issues that will harmonize the relationship between all the trade associations within the complex, that will enhance development more on the issue of roads.
The state of the road of trade fair complex is very bad.
My advice is that, she should bring the stakeholders together, they will work with the government, and make sure things are normalized. Again, more entry and exit ways have to be opened because it is no more the trade fair you know before that is on ground now. So almost every time things are changing more influx of vehicles and humans, so another exit route has to be opened, then as for security all of us need to decide what we want and don’t want, like all the shanties around, its not meant for someone to stay there overnight so that’s the area the new ED will tackle immediately to remove all the shanties being sprung up by the former administration under their watch.
These are what she will do for the stakeholders they will give her maximum support to carry out her duties and make sure that the president of the federal government of Nigeria will be very happy with her. This is from Hon.Ngozi Emechebe thank you.

Well my own agenda for the incoming ED, is that first she should please recognize that there is a stakeholders association which is an umbrella body for all the market association and other business owners in the complex.
Working with that association will make her succeed because everything she need as in information are available with the stakeholders association.
Secondly, she should see to the condition of the roads in the complex. The roads in the complex are very bad and it is not making the atmosphere conducive for business.
Again, I think she should look at the way they are building shanties all around the complex, it calls for security carefulness and concerns.
She should see to all these things and other things that are mitigating against the atmosphere being conducive for business and as a business community I think security should be paramount and the ED should work with the stakeholder association and all other security agencies to make the complex more than it is now.

My agenda for the new ED is to look round the complex and see that the complex is deteriorated so all the infrastructures should be put in place.
Then two, it is easier for her to treat all the stakeholder as one, from one voice, no need to divide the stakeholders like the former ED did “divide and rule”. It will profit her to treat the stakeholders as one for easy management and for progress of that trade fair, she should know that trade fair was a forest before the traders came to acquire lands here and develop that place to international standard.
So she should look into that. Then there was a land that was given to us, the minister came and we asked him that we have some apprentice that we need room for expansion and he gave us land the approved land/.
But the former ED decided to sell it to individuals and sell it on retail for his own personal gain. So she should look into that land and know how revert it back to the original owners.
We need amenities. There’s no light at the moment, so it’s the responsibility of the management to see that the complex that they are managing has electricity.
Two of the transformers which we would have applied was not approved and without government connection it will take years before we get that transformer, then cleanliness of the environment should be taken into consideration and other things.

First of all, I want to officially welcome her to the complex, the largest business complex in Sub-Saharan Africa.
I want to advise her to try and work with the Trade Fair Stakeholders Association (TFSA) and the its leadership. This will help her to succeed very well.
We are peaceful and loving business owners. We are willing to partner with her for the growth of the complex.

My advice to the incoming ED is that she should come to work with us and not to witch haunt us. When she comes she will see that trade fair is a very peaceful environment. She should key in to the prevailing peaceful atmosphere left by her predecessor.
She should mind her job and leave psychopaths and people that can take anything and face her work squarely so as to get good results.
The ED that has just left, Mr. Charles is a very friendly human and he did good things and a genuine transaction that was well detailed in the land allocations.
So when the new and current ED arrives, she should flows in and do thing so things will move on peacefully.
These are my candid advice I will give her. She is highly welcomed.
