Minister of Housing And Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, an Architect and former Managing Director Federal Mortgage Bank Of Nigeria (FMBN) from 2015 to 2022, has hailed BUA Cement for fulfilling his promise to Nigerians on crashing cement price from over N5,000 to N3,500 Ex-Depot Price.

Fielding questions before media executives in Abuja recently, he said with the new lower price, many abandoned projects, both private and public will begin to peak again.

Business Hilights recalls that ahead of Nigeria’s 63rd Independence anniversary on October 1st, the Chairman of BUA Cement, Alhaji Abudulsamad Rabiu promised in an official memo to the nation that come October 1st, BUA cement price will be reduced from over N5,000 to N3,500 Ex-Depot price which he has done.

However, check across the nation showed high scarcity of the brand as others on high prices flood the market.

But wherever it is on display, the price is reduced according to the promise of the chairman.
