Vociferous former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has slammed former president, Muhammadu Buhari on how he ran his administration. Buhari completed his eight years stay in office on May 29 and handed over to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who had earlier been declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the winner of the Feb 25th presidential election that went down in the country.
Sani has lashed out at the fromer president about how he ruled the nation for eight years. According to the member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), he said Buhari would withdraw money from the CBN and spend it and after which he will then return to the National assembly to get approval of the money that he had spent
Shehu Sani wrote “Buhari’s government withdrew money from the CBN, spent it then went to the national assembly to see for an approval of the money they have already spent. That was how the country was governed” he said
It was not clear if such financial rascality formed parts of the reasons for the recent suspension and arrest of the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
