More facts have emerged on why the newly unveiled Ebonyi International Cargo Airport will be named after the outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the state Governor, Engr Dave Umahi, the state graciously received a support of N10bn during the construction of the airport from the Federal Government following Buhari’s approval.
He spoke on Thursday as he welcomed the first two flights following the unveiling of the Airport at Onueke. This is as the State Government has offered the indigenes of the state free two weekly flights from Lagos and Abuja for the next four weeks.
