In his inaugural speech, he told ASPMDA members that his government will digitize the market and make it seamless for anybody from any part of the world to access information about ASPMDA with ease.
Today, according to details from the Office of the General Secretary of ASPMDA, the digitization of ASPMDA shop documents have started and the process will soon extend to all other sectors of the plaza.
Aside the digitization process, ASPMDA, under the current leadership of Hon. Explaining more in an exclusive interview, the General Secretary of ASPMDA, Comrade Juventus Uche Okpala-Okaka averred that “On the extension we’ve gotten from Trade Fair Management, we are told to apply individually.”
“However, the kind of President we have in the person of Hon Ngozi Emechebe; he decided to not go for his selfish interest but to make it open for all people of ASPMDA.
“So I think it’s a big plus to ASPMDA; where the younger ones that has not gotten plaza will have opportunity to have their own plaza. So he did it to extend helping hands to as many as possible in ASPMDA. So that is the process we’ve started.

Business Hilights recalls that as soon as he was sworn into office, Hon. Emechebe swung into the action of total leadership by flagging off dredging of over aged and well blocked canal that controls floods in ASPMDA and other parts of the entire complex.
Today, ASPMDA is flood free to the glory of God.
As if the canal dredging is nothing to him, the administration dived into the clearing of abandoned dump site inside ASPMDA with the help of those around the heaps and today, no portion of ASPMDA is taken over by heaps of solid waste again.
To deepen safety and security, the administration has started the renovation of the main gate security house and repainting of critical infrastructures to world class standard for the good of the plaza.
Also to drive and institute maintenance culture in the plaza, Hon Emechebe’s administration has embarked on the repairs of sensitive operations vehicles for the good of the members. Recall that he flagged of with repairs and upgrade of administrative offices from the presidency to the PRO so as to provide conducive environment for seamless administration and service delivery.
Democratic governance remains the best worldwide and that is from where dividends of democracy can be accessed. Today, Hon. Emechebe leadership has enthroned good governance where everybody has a say and confidence in the progress of ASPMDA.
Accordingly, due to the unprecedented acceptability of Hon. Emechebe’s government in ASPMDA, there has been successful and gradual handling/resolution of inherited cases amongst members so as to give room for peace and progress in ASPMDA.

The major Drainage route carrying flood away from ASPMDA to the Canal inside the Cantonment. The fence was brought down to allow for the passage of the dredging Caterpillar to have access to the canal proper. However, this is after all the gutters connecting floods to this main route have been cleared.

The celebration was graced with prayers and re-dedication of the plaza to God for protection and general progress.
