The Africa Tyre Village (ATV) and largest tyre marketing centre in Africa within the Lagos International trade Fair complex on Badagry Expressway will tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4, play host to the Director General of Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON), Mallam Farouk Salim, who will be on a sensitization campaign in the plaza.
Speaking to Business Hilights in a telephone interview weekend, the President of the group, Alhaji Isah Akanbi Mohammed revealed that “the sensitization is part of routine official activities of the federal agency in key strategic business centres to deepen awareness on importance of quality products in Nigerian markets.
He said “To me, Tyre Village is happy to host him as we have been good partners with the federal agency due our zero-tolerance to substandard tyre products and fairly used tyres.
“As you know, we only deal on new quality tyres and have no room for any kind of fairly used tyres or what they call tokunbo. We don’t sell that here.

“The Africa Tyre Village has been growing from strength to strengths and capacity to capacity as we continue to deliver world class quality products from best tyre and accessories manufacturers across the globe.
Alhaji Mohammed further noted that “As am talking to you, all our members are happy that one of our federal partners are coming to see us and we are very much ready to host the SON DG and his entourage with open arms tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4, 2023.”
