Amidst rising complaints by its customers over serial failures experienced on its online transaction platforms in recent times as cash crunch bites harder, Zenith Bank Plc has announced to its customers of enhanced security for online transactions.
In a notice sent to all customers via emails and other channels, the bank said “All online transaction with Zenith Bank debit, credit, or prepaid cards must now be authenticated with the one-time passcode (OTP) to be sent to your phone number in our data bade or generated on a hardware token.
The notice also warned that “Online transactions that are not authenticated as stated above would not be successfully completed.”
