Ekiti State witnessed its first flight in history on Saturday last week, which incidentally was the very last of Governor Kayode Fayemi in Office.
The aircraft to make the historic fight belongs to the Nigerian Air Force and it landed at the newly-built Ekiti State Airport in Ado-Ekiti.
Presidential photographer, Bayo Omoboriowo, shared a video from the historic moment. He said, “First time a flight is landing in Ekiti and I’m so super excited I was on it. It might not mean so much but for those of us from Ekiti State, it means a lot!”
