Contrary to all the claims that Covid-19 prevention precautions were adhered to at both Lagos and Abuja airports on the first day of flights resumption in Nigeria, emerged photo aboard Air Peace aircraft has proved otherwise.

By acclaimed covid-19 precaution protocols, Nigerians were made to believe that all centre seats are to be empty just as the way seats at departure hall are marked.

Efforts to find out from two leading aviation agencies; Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and Federal Aviation Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and even officials of the airline at press time failed.

Domestic flight operations resumed in Nigeria with two leading international airports (Lagos and Abuja) on Wednesday, July 08, 2020.

Other designated three international airports including Owerri, Kano and Port Harcourt will reopen next week.

Business Hilights reports that the first flight to Abuja from Lagos on the resumption day was operated by Arik Air, with boarding supervised by Officials of the NCAA.

Though there were insinuations that the government and the airport authorities are taking strict measures to ensure the safety of passengers and airport employees, the sights and sounds of the emerged cabin photo proves otherwise after all.
