Cargo aircrafts carrying Jack Ma's Covid-19 donated testing kits arrives Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian Airline group Monday morning landed first batch of Covid-19 testing kits, donated by Chinese billionaire and owner of Alibaba e-Commerce group, Mr Jack Ma, at Addis Ababa Airport via Ethiopian Airline.
Recall that Ma had announced the donation as part of aid to the continent last week. There are strong indications that Alibaba would be working with some continental bodies to effect the distribution to all 54 African nations.
Business Hilights gathered that Ethiopia’s President Sahle-Work Zewde, who took office on 25 October 2018, is coordinating the distribution.
