The Chief of Staff to the Abia State Governor, Dr A.C.B Agbazuere has called on Abians in Diaspora to come up with ideas and innovations that will help in accelerating massive development across the state.
Making the while receiving in audience, a high powered delegation of Abia State National Association of North America (ASNANA), led by its president, Mr Chibuzo Ngwakwe in his office in Government House, Umuahia, Dr Agbazuere opened up on the state government’s readiness to continue to synergize as well as partner with relevant socio-economic organizations in their programs and activities for the overall good and development of the state.
While commending the members of ASNANA for complimenting Dr Okezie Ikpeazu’s efforts at enhancing and transforming the state through donation of educational and medical facilities to the state, he urged them to sustain the tempo.
In his remarks during the visit, the member representing Isialangwa North/South Federal Constituency, Hon Darlington Nwokocha, stressed the need for stronger synergy between the state government and Abians in Diaspora in order to drive home Governor Ikpeazu’s vision of a new and better Abia.
Earlier in his address, ASNANA President, Mr Chibuzo Ngwakwe commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for appointing an erudite scholar, Dr A.C.B Agbazuere as his Chief of Staff.
He further made it clear that part of their visit is to felicitate with Dr Agbazuere on his appointment as well as present their template that will help in bringing about rapid development in the state.
The visit featured goodwill messages and prayer for the Governor and state at large.
