Yuletide: Ihedioha splashes every Imo Community with 20 bags of Imo Rice
Following the joining of Nigerian States’ league of rice producers and in the spirit of the season, Christmas, Imo State Governor, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, has approved the supplies of not less than 20 bags of 50kg of Imo Rice, currently adjudged the best in quality across the federation.
In a statement made available to Business Hilights State Correspondent in Owerri on Sunday, Government said “Every Autonomous Community in Imo state will get 20 bags of rice.”
Recall that in keeping with his rebuilding Imo and trust of citizens in the state, “Payment of December salaries to Civil Servants was done on 17th December, on the directives of the Governor.”
The statement averred that “This was done in spite of the economic difficulties the State is crawling out from.”
Majority of Imo indigenes both home and abroad have continued to note that “Governor Emeka Ihedioha has continued to show that he has a human face. He has proven to be that your very compassionate next door neighbour.”
