Leading retail banking giant, Fidelity Bank Plc has in the last four year rewarded over 2,600 of its customers with over N2.6bn in series of promos and loyalty reward scheme to deepen the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Giving the details at an event in Abuja where cash prizes were given to customers of the bank, the Manager, Wuse Branch in Abuja, Mr Vincent Ijeoma, said the move was part of efforts to improve saving culture among Nigerians and grow the businesses of SMEs.
While assuring that the bank would continue to come up with innovative products that would meet the needs of its customers, Ijeoma averred that “As a bank, we take it upon ourselves to give to the society and that is what we have done by giving out over N2.6bn to over 2,600 customers in four years under the Fidelity Bank loyalty reward.
“We have people that were rewarded with N500, 000; some won N250, 090 while others were given N150, 000. So that is what we are doing. We value all our customers at Fidelity Bank.”
Corroborating Wuse Branch manager’s position, the Manager for Mararaba Branch, Handatu Ayuba, said the move would help to improve the financial inclusion drive of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Business Hilights recalls that Fidelity Bank recently concluded it’s ‘Save Your Way to Millions’ popularly known as GIAM 3 promo where several customers of the bank across the federation received boosts to their businesses in terms of huge cash prizes and lots of consolation prizes.
