As almost all official activities and businesses are now driven online because technologies are now bridging gaps and distances created by mortar and bricks, Nigerians wishing to find out more on the status of their national identity cards are calling on the National Identity Management Agency (NIMC) to rise up to digital challenge.
Tweets uploaded from the agency’s handle show that NIMC is rather than going full digital, is advising Nigerians worried about their ID card status to travel to wherever they registered for further information rather than on its website

Good afternoon. I would advise you visit the centre you were enrolled at to check your card status

I don’t think NIMC has the intention of giving IDs

Why can’t we really know the status of our card from you official website than going to the center”. Please make it accessible to save people pain of going there and later nothing to Show for being to the centre of registration
Thanks
