Latest Lifemate furniture showroom in Lekki designed to offer the best—Dai

Leading office and household furniture group, Lifemate Nigeria Limited, has opened the doors of its biggest showroom in Lekki area of Lagos.

Seating on a 6,800-square-metre showroom, the centre brings the number of its showrooms to 13 spread across Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Port Harcourt and Warri.

In his address, the Managing Director of the company, Derick Dai, revealed that both the Federal Government as well as the Chinese consulate in the country helped the company to achieve success since it began operations in Nigeria over a decade ago.

He said “Nigeria is blessed with so many natural resources, so we trust that the future must be better. Let us work together to make it better. Lifemate makes all kinds of furniture, most of which are produced here; just a few are imported from Italy, China, Japan and other countries”.

While noting that the new showroom was completed within 11 months, Dai observed that the new showroom would among other things, help the company and its clients to achieve more success.

Earlier, the President of National Union of Civil Engineering, Construction, Furniture and Wood Workers (NUCECFWW), Mr. Amechi Asugwuni, congratulated Lifemate and encouraged the company to carry more Nigerians along so that with time, there would be no need for it to import products.

In an interview, a representative of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Mrs. Christy Hillary, said the firm had met all the standards set by SON.
