As part of its contribution to the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the United States of America Consulate General is set to train and mentor about 102 budding Nigerian entrepreneurs.
The US Department is partnering with Field of Skills and Dreams Academy in the training deal.
Explaining more during a conference for Emerging Entrepreneurs in Lagos in Lagos, the Consul General, John Bray, said the young business people would be equipped with skills to grow and expand their businesses.
He said it is an opportunity for the entrepreneurs to change their society by proffering solutions to economic challenges through resilience.
Chief Executive Officer of FSD, Mrs. Omowale Ogunrinde, said the programme is aimed at encouraging participants to execute their business vision and achieve success in their endeavours.
Some of the leading entrepreneurs who spoke at the conference as a source of inspiration to participants include the Chairman and CEO, Channels Television, Mr. John Momoh; Founder, MainOne Cable Company; FunkeOpeke; and the Co-founder and Director, Sahara Group, Tonye Cole.
