The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu is now the board chairman of three parastatals under his ministry following the inauguration of the boards Friday by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The three government agencies include the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and the Nigeria Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA).
The minister who made a brief speech after the ceremony admitted that the tasks before the boards’ members are enormous, and on behalf of others, promised to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them.
President Buhari charged them to be alive to their respective responsibilities and work towards Nigeria’s early exit from recession.
