About 26 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to berth at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos between yesterday and Nov. 23.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its ‘Shipping Position’, a publication of the agency on Monday.
Details show that the expected ships contained buck wheat, bulk sugar, general cargoes, empty containers, base oil, aviation fuel, ethanol, base oil, diesel, containers and petrol.
The document noted that four ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, bulk sugar and petrol.
15 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, containers, empty containers, bulk gypsum, clinker and petrol.
