The Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity has again released a list of over 90 jobs including vacancies in the Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR, Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation among others. Dr. Chris Nigge is the Minister of Labour and Productivity.
It would be recalled this programme had taken place about two months ago but was frustrated by systems failure arising from server challenges to carry traffic.
Within the period, news making the rounds said several Nigerians that attempted to access forms online cannot do that nationwide due to limitations in ICT infrastructure in the ministry.
A statement issued by the Ministry gave instructions on how to apply for a vacancy in any of the jobs, applicants must go through the Federal Civil Service Recruitment Portal, noting that completion/submission of forms will run for six (6) weeks from the date of this publication. The ministries with vacancies include BPP, Ministries of Education, Labour, Finance, Foreign Affairs, Information & Culture, Power, Works and Housing, Science and Technology and Federal Ministry of Transport.
There are also vacancies in the offices of the Auditor-General for the Federation, the Surveyor-General of the Federation and even the presidency.
The statement noted that completion/submission of application online is free and at no cost to applicants in line with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention.
