Trending fun train of the much celebrated music concert of the foremost telecommunications company, Globacom, Campus Storm, is set for the University of Nigeria after a hugely successful outing at the University of Port Harcourt last Friday.

Globacom in a statement in Lagos said preparations were being finalised for the show at the Enugu Campus of the University of Nigeria.

Artistes to perform, according to the company, include foremost rapper, Jude Abaga, better known by his stage name, MI; dancehall star, Timaya, also known as the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa, and rave-of the-moment, Runtown.  Music from the console will be managed by DJ Neptune, while accomplished comedian, Gordons, will anchor the show.

Globacom said the Campus Storm concert was conceived as a reward for students nationwide to appreciate the support of the youth segment for the Globacom brand. The company said lots of freebies and cash will be won by the students. The students will have opportunity to vie for slots to be Glo Campus ambassadors.

“10 winners in each campus will receive up to N100,000 each, with all the 240 winners vying for the ‘Glo Data Dude’ and ‘Glo Data Diva’ coveted crowns at the grand finale, the company said.

The two top winners in each category (male and female) will also have the chance of winning N1 million each in scholarships in addition to being signed on as Globacom Brand Ambassadors. They will also get special invitations to all Globacom organised events and shows such as the Glo-CAF Awards, Glo Laffta Fest and Glo Slide ‘n’ Bounce concerts”.

To attend the show, holding at the White House Auditorium, students need a recharge of N500 campus data plan, which they will activate on their phones
