Glo Rolls out 4G LTE Services in Lagos, Abuja, others

Leading indigenous telecoms firm, Globacom, has launched 4G LTE services in the country.

Tweets from Globacom yesterday indicated that the service would be available nationwide and that data plans range from N50 naira to N18,000 naira. Currently the service is available in 9 cities in the country, Lagos and Abuja included. Interested subscribers can dial *777# to learn more.

4G LTE is latest evolution in internet data speed and connection. It is considerably faster than 3G, which most telecoms firm run on.

This launch makes Glo the third mobile telecom service to roll out 4G in Nigeria shortly after Ntel and MTN.
