That Peter Obi’s technical advice to Gov. Ihedioha at inauguration

Though the season of governorship inauguration has come and gone, many new governors may be facing some preliminary leadership style crisis in their efforts to avoid early errors and public distrust.
This may form the pivot of the four strategic advice rolled out by former Anambra State governor and Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP, Mr Peter Obi at the inauguration ground last Wednesday in Owerri.
The four dangers ahead of governing Imo State for Ihedioha according to Obi are as follows:

1. Don’t fly chartered jets. Don’t Waste IMO Money on Chartered Jets. Why pay for millions when you can pay N40,000 and get to your destination.

2. Office of First Lady, it cost millions to maintain that office and you cannot afford it. IMO is in a mess. Your wife is the first lady of your house and heart, let her continue with her career.

3. Don’t turn Government house into a party house, those that want to drink should go to the bar.

4. Listen to those that criticise you, they are your best advisers. Always find out why they were criticising you.

Obi capped it up by further advising Ihedioha that “Your predecessor leaves a debt of N100billion verified. But for free advice on debt management, I will recommend former governor of Cross River State, Lyle Imoke”.
