In a publication sent to Business Hilights, the organizers said “Zone Tech Park builds world class products for ideas generated by our rock star in-house teams, or for external clients & corporates looking to execute a project”.
“The Initiative is powered by WiTW Lagos and KJK, this is an opportunity for startups and founders to build their products with Venture Builders and also helping our founders and clients ship products to market at great speeds. On the application criteria, the promoters noted that amongst other things, interested Nigerians must be Tech Startups; Startup with innovative ideas leveraging web or mobile technology to solve a business problem issue (preferably a B2B focus); Startup which has shown some level of traction and revenue and should also have at least four paying corporate clients.
Other conditions include that startup must have been in operation for at least six month and has been generating revenue for at least three months, and should also have a team with at least three including a technical and commercial co-founder with verifiable and applicable track record or industry experience.
