Nigerians give recent public visits by Saraki varieties of meanings ahead of 2019

Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has in recent times been mixing up with the Nigerian populace in a way and manner that have sparked off versions of analysis.

First in the row was his visit to Kwara State NYSC Camp where he sympatised with the Corps members over the demise of one of the female members at the camp.

Second was during the Children’s Day celebration which he surprisingly marked with internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Benue State.

Canvassing and mixing freely with children, Saraki assured the people that the legislature would continue to engage with security agencies to end the herdsmen killings in the state. Some members of the Senate accompanied Saraki on the visit to Agbagana IDP Camp in Makurdi.

Saraki meets Youths corpersWhile explaining that tangible measures were being put in place by the legislature in partnership with the executives to effect their early and peaceful return to the homes, he observed that the National Assembly had last week, held a meeting with the security agencies on how to bring solution to the insecurity problems.

A lot of Nigerians who barred their minds on what may cause such visits are divided even though majority saw the visits as being politically motivated ahead of his veiled exploits come 2019 elections either in the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) or the the leading opposition Peoples Democratic party (PDP).
