Narrow escape as Air Peace crash-lands without one of its front tyres in Lagos
Air Peace Airline Boeing 737 aircraft on Tuesday made a miraculous emergency landing at the local wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, after a veiled but struggling takeoff from Port Harcourt International Airport.
The aircraft however, crash landed on the runway, after losing one of its front tyres, thus forcing the tyre hanger to deeply bruise the runway before halting while the rains lasted.
Business Hilights gathered that the female pilot (name withheld) of the crashed-landed aircraft tried her professional best to control the situation after observing issues on takeoff till the emergency landing in Lagos.
Efforts to get additional facts from the management of Air Peace failed even as no one was hurt as every passenger and crew member left the plane with praises to God Almighty.
Besides, the Aviation regulatory agencies are yet to make any statement on the accident.
